Lana Huddleston Jared is a lifelong native of Putnam County. She attended school at Baxter her entire life and graduated from Upperman High School in 2000. Lana then attended Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville where she obtained a Bachelors of Science degree in both Chemistry and Biology. She then attended the University of Tennessee College of Pharmacy located in Memphis and obtained her Doctorate of Pharmacy degree in 2010. She completed a Post Graduate Year One Pharmacy Residency with the Veterans Affairs Tennessee Valley Healthcare System in 2011. She has experience in different areas of Pharmacy including community, hospital, and primary care.

Lana and her husband, Houston, married on December 13th, 2014 and have two children: Grace and Timothy. Houston is a Pastor in the Baxter area. The Jared’s are a family who believe in the Word of God and stand on their faith.
